Pittards Armor-Tan Abrasion Resistant Leather, any leather structure is made of microscopic fibrils which are encased by microscopic ceramic! About this treatment Pittards Armor-Tan is 25% more resistant to abrasion than untreated leathers.

Hair Sheep Pittards –WR 100 x special leather is resistant to rain and the effects of excessive perspiration. After drying, the leather will stay soft with good grip, and will not shrink.

Kangroo Skin

A special treatment makes your kangaroo skin absolutely colorfast and extremely resistant to moisture and sweat. Moisture, and above all, sweat, makes normal leather hard, brittle, and makes it shrink.

Enhanced security and durability thanks to the use of premium leather was tested by the German Test Institute.

Special Step Seam

Because the between the fingers seam has been relocated part-way up the side of the fingers, there is no pressure, from the seam at the base. A circular-cut finger section gives our gloves a curved finger form for a more relaxing ride.

A special step seam (the leather sections are simply overlapped and stitched flat) prevents annoying seam bulge, for pressure-free sensitive feel on the controls. Our special seam is very labor intensive (30 min. of handwork required).

Carbon-Aramid Kevlar (brand fibre)

Moulded thermoplastically and built into this racing glove, the material offers optimum abrasion and shock protection at the most vulnerable parts of your hand. It features on the knuckle of the upper hand, the knuckle of the small finger and ring finger, and on the Galaxy 2935 professional glove, it is also fitted to the side of the hand. SUPROTECT special foam is then fitted beneath the hard outer shell, to absorb shock impact. Material developed from Formula 1.

Rivet Patch

The function of a rivet patch in a crash is to allow the hand to slide (1) on the ball of the thumb rather than to catch and stop abruptly. To prevent penetration of friction heat, the rivet patch is backed with Kevlar (brand fibre) (2).

Care

All unlined gloves suffer from the aggressive effects of sweat and dirt. Leather must be cleaned and taken care of. Wash your glove in lukewarm water with soap or a special leather detergent. After slow drying treat the glove with our special leather dressing, and work thoroughly into the leather.
